Did you forget?

Did You Forget?
Did you forget . . . The unlimited spiritual & kinetic energy of an individual, that with a little faith can move mountains . . .That filled with spirit can influence masses . . . Able to provide comfort & support to others in hard times . . . "Because Spirit & Faith equal Hope" and "Where there's life there's always Hope"?

Did you forget? & Did you forget . . .
The most powerful remedy for pain & suffering is love unconditional . . . joined with patience & understanding define the nurturing process and roots of every living being and thing in existence?

Did you forget? & Did you forget . . .
For every positive or negative action there is a reaction . . . like your soul reacts to music & stimulation, like warm milk, cradles & lull-a-byes put babies to sleep and clock radio alarms awaken us to the dawn and vibe of a new day?

Did you forget? & Did you forget . . . Every soul is eternal and divine, every life is special and unique -- certainly "no one is exactly like you or me" clearly defining all the beauty & individuality the world has to offer?

So Do Not Forget to be grateful, to be thankful for life is meant to be cherished, shared & enjoyed . . . This is how life is meant to be lived. So remember tomorrow is promised to no one and for this day you are Blessed. Do Not Forget this and that. Please Do Not Forget.

Time is fleeting....

Monday, January 09, 2006

Love is but a matter of.....

Timing.... "It's no good meeting the right person too soon or too late".

He said to her "I don't know why but I'm not into it". She remained quiet not knowing how to respond. He continued" You're everything i want and more and I hate myself because I don't know why.. something is missing." She nodded without saying a word. Finally she muttered " you know why, you just don't want to admit it". After that night she felt the confused emptiness again. It was not until weeks later those words were finally absorbed and fully understood.
She cared for him deeply-she hadn't cared for anyone as much as she cared for him and she couldn't understand why. She waited, hoping that time will make him realize he had made a mistake. She only hoped for these few simple words- " I made a mistake, I was wrong". Weeks past and she finally received the long awaited note from him.
With joy and anxiousness she read each word carefully and waited to see those the words she'd long for. It was not to be. She burst out into tears and slowly walked away........"I think you should know that very recently and unexpectedly someone came into my life. I am going to see where it goes, i just wanted you to hear it from me". Instantly, the confusion became clear. These would be the last words she would remember of him.

Human Bodies Exhibition

This past saturday I went to the Bodies Exhibition at Seaport. The admission ticket was $24 and some change. As pricey as it was, I wasn't disappointed. Basically the concept of this exhibition is to try to educate us about our bodies externally and internally using "real" preserved human bodies. There was a big controversy over this exhibition because of the bodies that were used. Supposedly, they used unidentified humans from china and of prisoners for this project. It was a bit disturbing looking at each specimen because these were actually people once.. living people at that. Just because they were never identified or we don't know who they are..does that warrant the right to use them for scientific or artistic purposes? I think one piece that stood out the most was an actual preserved body of a woman with a fetus inside. That was just disturbing and surreal. They also showed actual preserved fetuses at each stages of their lives ranging from 9 weeks all the way to a full grown fetus. MORBID! I think the most fascinating aspect of this whole exhibition is that you get to see the inside of your bodies in ways that would never ever would. You get to learn how each organ, artery, vein, nerve are all interconnected with each other how each part works in conjuction with each other.
The whole premise of this exhibition was to try to enlighten us on our bodies so that we may try to take care of it. At the end of the exhibition there was a writing on the wall that said that each subject was treated with the dignity and respect they deserved. Somehow i doubt that.
Nonetheless, it was a very interesting exhibition and definitely worth seeing. You will be fascinated and amazed.
